are presenting work-based learning to trainees: employers, students, educators,
and parents-on how to ensure an effective and productive work-based learning
experience for the student end employer.

This

Work
has benefits-and inherent risks. Nearly 200,000 teenagers are injured
on the job every year. Some 20 percent of 11th and 12th graders
participate in work-based learning in Massachusetts, and over 80
percent work part-time in some capacity. Read the Overhead Presentation

This
module links the Learning Standards from the Massachusetts Curriculum
Frameworks with the nine competencies in the Massachusetts Work-Based
